Hello!
I am Steve Anderson. I'm known on the internet as Irregular Shed, due to a misunderstanding in the late 1990s that I never bothered to correct.
By day I'm a programmer, doing web development at the best dev studio in Wales. By night, I'm a hacker - primarily hardware, but sometimes software.
For ages I've been meaning to get some sort of web presence sorted out to host all my projects, but have never managed to get around to it - probably because it feels too much like a busman's holiday. (Seriously, I've written something like this introduction six times over the past few months - in Drupal, Wordpress and Jekyll, multiple times.) I've never finished got to a stage where I'm happy with it because I feel like I should be doing clever CSS and funky Javascript tricks to show off my development chops. I've decided enough is enough - the main purpose of the site should be the content, not bells and whistles, so why not go back to where I started many, many years ago and fire up a Blogger site? After all, if I should get a custom site organised, I can always export all the data from Blogger and import it into whatever I end up with.
So that's how I've ended up here. Slowly I'll improve this whilst writing about what I'm up to, and maybe one day it'll be somewhere else - but in the meantime my projects can be documented.
